Before working with Lynsey, I was a bit stuck. I knew what to do, but was afraid to do it sometimes. I know my business so well that I got into a routine which was working up to a point, but Lynsey helped me out of that box! I needed to think long term, not just in the 'here and now' - I was trying to do it all at the same time and therefore burning myself out. I know I work hard and have built up a great supplier and customer relationships - this has stood to me in 2020, a year which has really put my business to the test.
It was good that Lynsey didn't know me before we started working together, so it was always her independent view on anything I did and she encouraged me out of my comfort zone a lot. I knew deep down the belief was there but I needed somebody independent like Lynsey to encourage more self-belief and see that Dublin Trophies will survive for a long time to come.
I now ask for and say things that I was reluctant to say before - working to strict deadlines with the public every day can be very challenging and they can push the boundaries! But it's a very rewarding job too as I see the joy my customers have with the finished job.
I really loved my Monday catch ups with Lynsey as they kept me focused on what I had to get done during that week. Thank you so very much Lynsey for your help!
